Our DNA is packed inside the cell into structures known as “chromosomes”, whose ends, the telomeres, become shorter and shorter with age.
Telomeres are the protective caps at the end of chromosomes that shorten as cells divide and age. They play a role in cell division and aging processes. Learn more about how our scientific breakthrough elongates telomeres 30 times more than telomerase.
Our DNA is packed inside the cell into structures known as “chromosomes”, whose ends, the telomeres, become shorter and shorter with age.
Telomere shortening has been directly regarded as one of the leading cause of aging, including that of the skin.
For forty years, a single protein called “telomerase” has been thought as the sole factor responsible to preserve telomere elongation.
We have now found a telomerase independent mechanism of telomere elongation based on transfer of telomere vesicles at the initiation of the immune response.
The process elongates telomeres 30 times more than telomerase.
We have identified a fragment of natural present protein that supports spontaneous telomere transfer reactions by direct targeting skin resident T Cells. We call it TELO-PEPTIDE™ in virtue of its unique cosmetic proprieties and revolutionary domino rejuvenating effects.
When a short-lived telomere donor cell comes into contact with a long-lived skin resident T cell, the telomeres are clustered together. Afterward, individual telomere vesicles emerge from the clustered area and enter the T cell. As a result, the T cell that receives the telomeres gains rejuvenating properties, benefiting both itself and the surrounding skin.
A telomere donor cell, called Antigen Presenting Cell (APC), is short lived, and therefore able to donate its telomeres to another immune, but long-lived cell, called the T Lymphocyte (T cell). Upon transfer of the APC telomeres into the T cell, the recipient T cell is protected from aging and begins to release factors that ensure reversal of aging and maintenance of youth in neighbouring skin cells.
In the skin, these pathways operate in the Derma such that by targeting a single cell type, the skin resident T Cell, with a a single product, the TELOGIFT CREAM, a pletora of anti-aging effects can be obtained.
For the first time, telomeres are shown to detach from chromosomes, encapsulate in vesicles, and fuse at the chromosomes of the skin resident T cells resulting in their youth, thirty times more than what a telomerase can do.
Being at the pinnacle of the aging pyramid, this single treatment combats skin deterioration that inexorably occurs as we grow older. A single transfer reaction can in fact elongate the telomeres that would be lost in the next 20 years, thereby protecting from aging. Therefore, T cells have hitherto unknown cosmetic properties.
