A telomere donor cell, called Antigen Presenting Cell (APC), is short lived, and therefore able to donate its telomeres to another immune, but long-lived cell, called the T Lymphocyte (T cell). Upon transfer of the APC telomeres into the T cell, the recipient T cell is protected from aging and begins to release factors that ensure reversal of aging and maintenance of youth in neighbouring skin cells.
